Our first special acoustic show for the Edinburgh Fringe is tonight at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you there or perhaps at one of the other shows over the next three nights.

Tomorrow you can catch Salsa Celtica on BBC Radio 4’s famous Loose Ends show introduced by Ned Sherrin as part of the Loose Ends Edinburgh Festival special when the show moves to Edinburgh’s Pleasance Grand in front of live audience. You can hear the show on air or online between 6.15 and 7.00pm on Saturday 19th August. It will also be available on the BBC’s listen again facility for a week from the Loose Ends website

In August Salsa Celtica can be heard in session on BBC Radio Scotland’s Radio Cafe on August 11th and on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends special from Edinburgh Festival on August 19th.

A series of special acoustic performances in the Famous Spiegeltent as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at 6pm each day between 24th and 26th of August to coincide with thelaunch at the Edinburgh Film Festival of ‘Driving Lessons’ starring Julie Walters, Rupert Grint, Laura Linney and Peter Davison and featuring Salsa Celtica. We’ll be on stage at the Appleby Jazz Festival on Thursday at 9.30pm and at Womad in the Siam Tent between 3.30 and 4.30pm on Friday. On Saturday we head off to Cambridge Folk Festival where we’ll be playing the main stage on Saturday at 4.10pm with special guest Eliza Carthy and we’ll be doing an album signing at the Mojo Tent (next to the CD stall) at 5.30pm, immediately after that show. On Sunday we’ll be doing the closing set on the Radio 2 stage starting at 10.05pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

On the weekend of the 22nd-25th September some 2,500 salsa dancers will descend on Bognor Regis for one of Europe’s biggest dance events. Salsa Celtica have been invited to headline the weekend with a show on Saturday 23rd. For more info go to the tours page above.

On August 5th Salsa Celtica will take the stage at one of their favourite venues – Edinburgh’s Queens Hall – as part of the bill for this year’s Edinburgh Jazz Festival. Expect one or two special guests for this very special show.
